Responsibilities

• Provide excellent care and superior customer service to all residents on the unit.
• Assist the nursing leadership team in planning, developing, and overseeing facility operations to ensure quality care 24/7.
• Assess residents' conditions to implement interventions and develop care plans.
• Accurately document observations in Point Click Care (PCC) to ensure adherence to care plans.
• Ensure compliance with facility medical records, policies, and procedures.
• Regularly round on residents, observing and evaluating symptoms, progress, and reactions to treatments.
• Implement necessary interventions and medications as required.
• Provide preventative, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care to meet residents' physiological and psychosocial needs.
• Administer a variety of treatments, including dressing changes, wound care, foley catheter irrigations, IV therapy, and tube feedings.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• CPR certification required.
• One year of professional nursing experience in a long-term care setting is desired (not required).
• Knowledge of applicable state nursing regulations preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
