About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at Spruce Health Pro Inc. This contract position involves providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including memory care, trauma centers, and medical offices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient advocacy, clinical excellence, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patient health status, documenting changes and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including botulinum toxin treatments and pain management therapies.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and family planning.
  • Collaborate with case management teams to coordinate care for patients transitioning between levels of care.
  • Participate in the management of patients in Level I and Level II Trauma Centers, ensuring adherence to protocols for trauma care.
  • Conduct medical imaging procedures as necessary and interpret results in collaboration with radiology staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with MDS (Minimum Data Set) requirements.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
  • BLS Certification (Required).
  • ACLS Certification (Required).
  • 3 years of nursing experience (Required).
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred; experience in memory care or trauma centers is a plus.
  • Familiarity with case management processes and medical imaging techniques is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with best practices in nursing care.
