About the position
The Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Resource Float Nurse Adult Med/Surg team is designed for a passionate and adaptable individual who will provide high-quality nursing care across various units within the facility. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with healthcare teams, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in Adult Med/Surg settings.
- Float to different units as needed, providing support and expertise in patient care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and respond to changes in patient status promptly.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medication, and post-discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of GA
- 1 year of nursing experience
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider status according to AHA
