Responsibilities

- Educate patients about their mental and medical conditions.
- Run therapeutic groups and conduct psychiatric crisis interventions.
- Record patients' medical histories and symptoms.
- Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results.
- Operate medical machinery and administer treatment and medications.
- Assist with patient follow-up and rehabilitation.
- Teach patients and their families how to manage their illness or injury.
Requirements
- Current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
- Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards.
- Understanding of interdisciplinary treatment team processes and behavioral health programming.
- Knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health care.
