Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care.
- Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care, including interdisciplinary and discharge planning.
- Teach patients and families about post-hospitalization care and access community resources.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities.
Requirements
- RN License in the state of Indiana.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification (required after 90 days of employment).
- 2 years of nursing experience preferred, particularly in inpatient medical-surgical settings.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort with working with vents, trachs, and PICC lines.
- 2 years of direct patient care experience.
