Responsibilities

• Implements system nursing education and professional development programs.
• Assesses clinical learning needs and provides direction for nursing education, practice, and research.
• Provides oversight for clinical and nursing education resources.
• Ensures nursing education initiatives promote a competent nursing workforce.
• Partners with nursing leaders to provide education and support for nursing technology.
• Responsible for staff education and preceptor support.
• Implements nursing career development pathways and programs.
• Acts as a role model for professional nursing practice standards.
• Oversees student clinical rotations and transition to practice programs.

Requirements

• Current RN License from an accredited program in the state of practice.
• Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) required.
• 2 years of experience with education concepts and processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Masters of Science Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred.
• 3 years of experience preferred.
