About the position
The Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position at Haven Behavioral Hospital of West Chester involves providing high-quality nursing care in a newly opened facility specializing in behavioral health services. The role emphasizes patient assessments, nursing interventions, and effective communication within the treatment team to ensure safe and quality care for individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues. The RN will also supervise Behavioral Health Technicians and may assume the role of Charge Nurse when assigned.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and provide nursing interventions to patients as assigned.
- Maintain a safe and efficient working and treatment environment per facility policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all patients.
- Provide supervision to Behavioral Health Technicians.
- Assume the role of Charge Nurse when assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
