About the position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Novant Health is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a critical care environment. Responsibilities
- Establish authentic personalized relationships with patients and their support systems.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Utilize best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in navigating their health journey.
- Accept responsibility, authority, and accountability for the management and provision of care according to current policies and procedures.
- Foster a safe patient environment driven by the principles of 'First Do No Harm'.
- Engage in teamwork and community involvement to enhance patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.
- One year of relevant experience preferred.
