About The Position

Neuro IMC is a 16-bed Intermediate Care nursing unit that serves as a dedicated stroke nursing unit. Care is rendered to a variety of intermediate care neuro patients including but not limited to: High acuity ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients, patients receiving IV thrombolytic for acute ischemic stroke, patients requiring continuous EEG monitoring, patients with other neurological disorders such as Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis, and ALS, and patients with hemodynamic instability needing antiarrhythmic and/or vasopressor medications. Experienced RNs can earn up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Northeast Georgia Health System is rooted in a foundation of improving the health of our communities.

Requirements

Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required
At least 1 year of RN experience – Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire
Basic computer skills necessary to operate computer systems used on unit
