Registered Nurse RN - Medical/Surgical

About the position

This position is an hourly position with a pay range of $32.61 - $49.28/hour, based on years of licensure. It also includes a shift differential of $4.00/hr and a weekend differential of $3.25/hr along with career ladder opportunities. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital, protecting, promoting, and restoring health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum.
• Assess and support physical symptoms of patients.
• Provide psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
• Mentor assigned team members.
• Promote best practices and maintain professional disposition at all times.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan).
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

Nice-to-haves

• BSN degree.
• Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment.
• Basic proficiency in Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft applications.
