About the position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position in Med Surg - Ortho - Neuro at Anderson Hospital involves collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team to conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, analyze assessment data, create a plan of care, implement treatment, and evaluate treatment effectiveness. The RN will administer medications safely according to state practice and Bon Secours Mercy Health policies, and serve as a point of contact for patient care coordination throughout hospital departments. The role also includes acting as a patient safety advocate and participating in ongoing quality improvement in the department, while incorporating the professional practice model into care delivery.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Valid nursing license from the state of practice (required).
- Associate of Nursing or Diploma in Nursing (required).
- BLS Basic Life Support certification (preferred).
