The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center offers new graduates an opportunity to join a Magnet Recognized team dedicated to delivering exceptional nursing care. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in a float pool setting across various units.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team focused on patient outcomes and quality care.
- Engage in critical thinking and autonomous nursing practice.
- Contribute to the Professional Nursing Practice Model at Avera McKennan.
Requirements
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program (strongly preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in South Dakota or meeting multi-state licensure requirements.
- Certification in specialty preferred.
- Completion of life-saving education specific to specialty area encouraged.
