Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients using the nursing process.
- Assume responsibility and accountability for individual actions and patient care outcomes.
- Float to various Behavioral Health Inpatient units as needed.
- Participate in developing and implementing Crisis Response Plans for patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota or meeting multi-state licensure requirements.
- Certification in specialty encouraged.
- Membership in a professional organization encouraged.
