About the position
The Clinical Nurse (RN) in the 3B CV Intermediate Care unit is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families. This role involves implementing a care plan based on thorough assessments of patients' physical, psychological, and socioeconomic needs, as well as adhering to physician orders. The Clinical Nurse plays a vital role in supporting the organization's mission and values while actively engaging in patient and family-centered care practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide total comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families.
- Implement a plan of care based on patient assessments and physician orders.
- Support the mission and values of the organization in patient care services.
- Incorporate ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice in daily activities.
- Engage in WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model.
Requirements
- Valid RN License required.
- Diploma in Nursing or Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- No prior experience required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a clinical nursing setting is preferred but not mandatory.
