About the position

The Registered Nurse (Resuscitation Education Initiative Program Manager) is responsible for overseeing the nursing process in providing and supervising direct patient care. This role focuses on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care, ensuring compliance with national directives and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Execute position responsibilities demonstrating leadership and creative approaches to program management.
  • Lead a facility-wide program that meets the requirements of National Directives.
  • Oversee staff education, orientation, competencies, and provide quality improvement consultation related to the program.
  • Evaluate practice based on best evidence and provide informal constructive feedback to peers.
  • Foster a safe and supportive environment for the professional development of healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute a professional nursing perspective in interdisciplinary team discussions.
  • Partner with others to effect change and produce optimal outcomes.
  • Continuously evaluate the program and submit facility performance measures.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens.
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency.
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a state, territory, or commonwealth of the U.S.
  • Proficiency in basic written and spoken English.

Nice-to-haves

  • BSN
  • BLS Instruction
  • Previous Resuscitation Education Initiative program management experience
  • ACLS or Code team experience
  • Excellent organization skills.
