About the position

The Registered Nurse (PRN) position in Urgent Care at Darlington requires maintaining a professional image and exhibiting excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. The role fosters an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, visitors, and co-workers. The nurse will demonstrate proficiency in the use of all medical equipment in the office and adhere to procedural checklists for administering all immunizations/injections. Responsibilities include ensuring that all examination rooms are clean and fully stocked with supplies, including replacing any expired supplies, calling patients from the waiting area using appropriate title and last name to a clean, well-stocked examination room, obtaining and accurately documenting vital signs, confirming chief complaints, triaging and performing in-house diagnostic testing according to orders, managing patient workflow in the clinical area, serving as a clinical team lead for the office, providing support and assistance as needed to patients, nurses, physicians, and other staff, participating proactively in problem-solving and process improvement activities through collaboration with clinical teams using Evidence Based Practices, and demonstrating continued professional growth through goal setting and participation in educational offerings. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • 1 year of related work experience preferred.
  • Must possess a valid SC license- RN.
  • BLS required.
