Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition post-anesthesia.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery.
- Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records.
Requirements
- Active ME RN License with current expiration date.
- Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
