About the position
The Registered Nurse Per Diem Nights position at Morristown Medical Center involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients during night shifts. Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
- Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
- Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
- Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
- Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
- Records patient vital signs and medical information.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (ASN must complete BSN studies within five years of start date).
- Master's degree in nursing or related field.
- 1+ year of experience in Nursing or relevant area.
- ACLS certification.
