About the position
The Registered Nurse (Part Time Days) at Morristown Medical Center is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. This role involves monitoring patients, administering medications, maintaining health records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
- Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
- Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
- Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
- Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
- Records patient vital signs and medical information.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Nursing or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Nursing or relevant area.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse and BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification.
