About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Operating Room for a 13-week travel assignment in Herrin, IL 62948. This position involves 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week, with a start date of 6/1/2026. The role requires a current Illinois Registered Nurse license, CPR/BLS, and at least 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting. The nurse will be responsible for patient assessments, developing and implementing care plans, patient education, and maintaining medical records. ACLS certification is desired. The position offers a competitive hourly pay rate and a non-taxed stipend.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an RN in OR.
Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
Current CPR/BLS Card.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Complete additional facility onboarding forms as assigned.

Responsibilities

Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
Provides explanations and instructions to patient/responsible person.
