About the position
The Registered Nurse position focuses on providing acute care in a home recovery setting rather than a traditional hospital environment. This role is essential in delivering hospital-level care to patients in their homes, ensuring they receive the necessary medical attention while promoting their recovery and quality of life. Responsibilities
- Work with approximately 3-5 low-acuity patients per day.
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for each patient.
- Conduct medication reconciliation and safety assessments.
- Implement standardized protocols for patient care.
- Coordinate all necessary elements required for patient care in their home.
Requirements
- 2+ years of acute nursing experience (Emergency, Medical-Surgical, Intensive Care, etc.).
- Associate of Science in Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Current RN license.
- Phlebotomy skills preferred.
- Covid Vaccination required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in home health care settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
