About the position
Under the direct supervision of the Student Health Unit (SHU) Supervising Registered Nurse, the Registered Nurse performs general nursing care duties as assigned in a health unit clinic that is open 24 hours, serving the 500 students ages 3 to 22 at the California School for the Deaf and California School for the Blind. This position/classification has been designated as a safety-sensitive position.
Requirements
- Possession of the legal requirements to practice as a professional Registered Nurse in California.
- Ability to work day, evening, or night shifts.
- Eligibility for hire is determined by your score on the Registered Nurse exam.
Nice-to-haves
- Fluency in American Sign Language.
