About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Labor and Delivery/Obstetrics Nurse in Peterborough, NH. This contract position involves providing exceptional patient care and support during labor and delivery, as well as assisting with postpartum care. Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality care to women in labor and delivery
- Monitoring fetal heart rate and vital signs of the mother
- Assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Providing education and support to new mothers and families
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of New Hampshire
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- 2+ years of Labor and Delivery/Obstetrics experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
