Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Interventional Lab RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. You will proactively assume responsibility and accountability for several patients during a designated time frame while following policies and procedures. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
Position Summary: Responsible for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured, or infirm; and the promotion of wellness, maintenance of health, and prevention of illness of others. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner authorized by the laws of this state to prescribe such medications and treatments.
In this role you will:
* Actively listens-- Handles upset customers by hearing the customer out, empathizing, apologizing, and taking personal responsibility for resolving customer problems/issues.
* Supports others -- Treats people with dignity, respect, and fairness; gives proper credit to others; stands up for deserving others and their ideas even in the face of resistance or challenge.
* Identifies cause and effect relationships -- Demonstrates appropriate assessment skills including prioritization and delegation of patient care activities. Makes the connection between cause and effect in patient care interventions. Demonstrates problem resolution utilizing critical thinking skills promoting positive patient outcomes.
* Knows how to apply interventions -- Knows the proper procedure for a relevant care intervention and applies it accordingly.
* Facilitates goal accomplishment -- Makes procedural or process suggestions for achieving team goals or performing team functions; provides necessary resources or helps to remove obstacles to help the team accomplish its goals.

* Physician Communication & Coordination-Receives, interprets and implements physician orders accurately and in a courteous manner. Consults resources in clarifying unfamiliar or questionable orders.
Shifts are 4 days @ 9hrs-36 hrs
Job Requirements:
* Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
* 1+ years of RN experience in an acute care environment like ER or ICU preferred
* Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, BSN is preferred
* NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start
* Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start
* American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of employment start date
* Interventional Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred
* 30 minute call window
