About the position
The Arthritis Group is seeking a part-time Infusion Nurse/RN to provide high-quality care to patients with rheumatic diseases. This role involves administering infusions and medications, monitoring patient vital signs, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans. The position is primarily weekday shifts from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM at two locations in Warminster and Langhorne, PA, with potential for additional coverage as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by administering infusions and medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct patient assessments and educate patients and their families on the treatment process.
- Utilize electronic medical records systems.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Pennsylvania Registered Nurse
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Proficient at peripheral IV placement
- Proficient with electronic medical records systems
- CPR Certification
- BLS Certification
