About the position

We are seeking multiple compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse Infusionists to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality infusion therapy to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care, focusing on both physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

• Establish IV for infusion.
• Administer intravenous (IV) medications and fluids as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients during infusion therapy, assessing vital signs and overall condition.
• Provide strategies and support to enhance patient comfort.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures as needed for diagnostic evaluation.
• Conduct catheter care, ensuring proper maintenance and hygiene practices.
• Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, potential side effects, and home care instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Highly skilled at establishing an IV in patients.
• Ability to work alone and travel extensively.
• Proven experience in infusion therapy or a related field.
• Proficiency in medication calculation and mixing.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality care standards.
