About the position
The Registered Nurse I Pool provides direct patient care to inpatients, assessing their needs and creating individualized care plans. This role involves supervising the activities of LPNs, RNTs, and CNAs, while effectively communicating with the interdisciplinary team and reporting any patient concerns or changes in condition to the supervisor or physician in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to inpatients.
- Assess patients and create individualized care plans.
- Supervise activities of care, treatment, and services provided by LPNs, RNTs, and CNAs.
- Communicate information with the interdisciplinary team.
- Report patient concerns and changes in condition to supervisor and/or physician.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure appropriate to state regulations.
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
- CRRN certification preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Nice-to-haves
- CRRN certification preferred.
