Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Provide direct patient care and patient/family education.
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient care rounds.
• Engage in complex discharge planning to facilitate patient transitions to the community.
• Support professional nursing practice across various settings.
• Mentor and teach nursing staff and students.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Delegate patient care tasks based on skill level and patient acuity.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ACEN, CCNE, NLN CNEA).
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required before start date.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Computer skills and experience with electronic medical records preferred.
