Responsibilities

  • Teach vocational nursing courses, including both lecture content and clinical rotations, at various times and locations as per program needs
  • Continuously improve instruction quality by utilizing innovative teaching methodologies and integrating online activities to enhance course content
  • Assist in curriculum development, including reviewing and revising course syllabi and instructional guidelines
  • Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and skills check-off forms, while assisting with program data collection
  • Stay current with new technologies, safety regulations, and maintain required certifications, including obtaining the ATI Champion Training Certificate within 30 days of hire
  • Participate in professional development activities and actively contribute to assigned committees, while prioritizing teaching responsibilities

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse license in the state of application
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an approved school
  • Meets Board of Vocational Nursing faculty requirements
  • Demonstrated current nursing knowledge and ability to mentor students in various settings
  • Current immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification
