About the position

The Emergency Room Nurse position at Supplemental Health Care involves providing critical care in emergency situations to patients experiencing trauma, injury, or other urgent medical conditions. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, recognizing life-threatening issues, and delivering necessary treatments independently. The position is a 12-week contract with the possibility of extension, offering competitive weekly pay and various shifts, including night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in emergency situations for patients experiencing trauma, injury, or other conditions.
• Recognize life-threatening problems and provide treatment as necessary.
• Conduct admissions, triage, and discharges in the Emergency Room.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Current Arizona Nursing License
• American Heart Association BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• 1 - 2 years of recent Emergency Department / Emergency Room nursing experience
• PALS Certification
• TNCC Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• CPI Certification preferred

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in emergency medicine
• Additional certifications in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
