About the position
Aspirus Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI is seeking a REGISTERED NURSE to join our Cardiac Rehab team! The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care provided that incorporates evidence-based practice. A key aspect of the work of Nursing is to continually improve the quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data.
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care.
- Conduct assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Incorporate evidence-based practice into nursing care.
- Collect and analyze data to improve the quality of nursing care.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Certification in the area of specialty desired.
- Minimum of three years practicing as a RN in a comparative setting.
- Possess an active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN nursing license.
- Maintain specialty certification as per department scope of service.
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Current ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification may be required based on primary department.
