About the position
The Registered Nurse 2-3 South Days is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care in alignment with the healthcare team philosophy. This role involves patient teaching, discharge planning, and collaboration with ancillary departments to ensure high standards of care are maintained within the department and the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver patient care using the healthcare team philosophy practice model.
- Conduct patient teaching and discharge planning.
- Coordinate activities with ancillary departments.
- Maintain standards of the department and the hospital.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Mississippi.
- Experience in a clinical nursing role, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
