About the position
The Registered Dietitian at Graham Health System is responsible for providing clinical nutrition therapy, outpatient diet education, and community education. This full-time position operates under the supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition, contributing to the mission of delivering compassionate and quality health services to the community.
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical nutrition therapy for patients.
- Provide outpatient diet education to individuals.
- Conduct community education programs related to nutrition.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and progress.
Requirements
- Master's degree in nutrition or health education required.
- Valid Registered Dietitian license in the State of Illinois.
- IDPH Food Service Safety Certification or Food Handler's Training and Certification.
- Experience in clinical nutrition and community education.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
- Knowledge of current nutrition trends and research.
