About the position
Hillside Health & Rehab is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to coordinate nutritional care for residents and patients. The role involves conducting nutritional assessments, providing counseling and education, and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings. The position emphasizes personalized wellness journeys and requires a commitment to exceptional service in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate nutritional care of residents and patients by completing nutritional assessments.
- Participate in IDT meetings as required.
- Provide nutritional counseling and education for residents and family.
- Provide dietary in-service training as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credential and Florida license.
- Good decision making and judgment capabilities.
- Ability to identify and solve complex problems.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- High comfort level with enteral nutrition, wounds, weight management, and Hemodialysis.
- Familiarity with state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with electronic charting such as Point Click Care.
