About the position
The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) position at our General Dentistry practice involves providing support to the dental team and assisting in patient care. The role is part-time, requiring a commitment to a busy family practice that serves patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, and a team player, working primarily on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Provide excellent customer service to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure the dental office is clean and organized
Requirements
- CPR Certification
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification
- X-Ray Certification
- 2 years of dental assisting experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in Dentrix software
Nice-to-haves
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification
