About the position
We are seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our well-established general dental office in Alameda, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisting dentists, particularly in making temporary crowns quickly and with high quality. This role requires a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Make temporary crowns quickly and with good quality
- Take digital X-rays and perform all RDA functions
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide excellent patient care and support
- Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management (preferred but not required)
Requirements
- Valid Registered Dental Assistant license
- Valid X-Ray Certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of experience assisting dentists
- Ability to create high-quality temporary crowns
- Experience with digital X-rays
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of Invisalign and orthodontics
- Experience with Eaglesoft software
