Registered Dental Assistant - Comprehensive Care Center

Responsibilities

• Under the Direct supervision of a dentist, assist in all aspects of chairside assisting.
• Drape and seat the patient in dental chair.
• Place proper tray set up and develop room preparation.
• Confirm all treatment is recorded in the chart and all necessary information of the patient visit is indicated on route slips.
• Operate Dental radiography equipment.
• Apply topical agents.
• Remove dressings.
• Fill in as Dental Receptionist to answer telephone calls, route and assist incoming patients.
• Follow Infection Control policies.
• Follow sterilization protocols and demonstrate adherence to the sterilization process.
• Perform other work-related duties as required.

Requirements

• Two years' experience is preferred.
• Must possess both California license for Registered Dental Assistant and sealant certificate.
• Possession of State Radiological Certification.
• Graduation from high school.
• Desire to work closely with patients and staff.
• Willingness to participate in expanded duty program as such program becomes operational.
