Registered Behavior Technician RBT-Center Based
About The Position
Butterfly Effects is seeking passionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to teach young children affected by autism. This is a permanent part-time opportunity (10-20 hours on average) to make a significant impact on a child's life. Our home-based treatment involves working directly with the child and family in their natural environment, most often their home, to teach essential skills such as communication, sharing, play, and waiting. RBTs at Butterfly Effects make sessions fun by teaching through play-based activities. The company offers training to all staff to ensure they feel confident in the skills required to instruct children affected by autism.
Requirements
- Minimum High School diploma.
- Active RBT Certification with Medicaid credentials.
- A love and Passion for working with children.
- Valid driver's license & personal vehicle.
- Auto Insurance - Your name listed as an insured driver.
- Web Enabled Device (laptop or tablet).
- Minimum 5 days with consistent availability for at least 6 months. M-f 12-6pm.
- Positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families.
