About the position

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position involves working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans for individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. The role focuses on providing direct support to clients, collecting data on their progress, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality behavioral services in a compassionate and effective manner.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
  • Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home and community environments.
  • Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding client progress and needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a clinical or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
