Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute a strategy to maximize sales growth.
  • Drive sales cycles and close business with the employee benefits broker community.
  • Meet or exceed quota and activity metrics.
  • Drive sales strategies centered around understanding and addressing the unique needs and challenges of employers and employee benefits brokers.
  • Build trust and work well within the HealthJoy team and with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate initiative by working accounts at every stage of the Sales Journey.
  • Develop a long-term strategy focusing on building lasting broker relationships.
  • Adapt to change in a fast-growing company.
  • Appreciate constructive feedback and leverage resources and training.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Sales Enablement.
  • Use Salesforce to track all opportunities, leads, activities, forecasts, etc.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and booking targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a sales position.
  • Experience selling directly into benefit broker partners or within HR technology, PEO, healthcare navigation, virtual care services, and/or employee benefits or healthcare data analytics.
  • Demonstrated success in broker channel sales, preferably in employee benefit solutions.
  • Experience selling to mid-market employers (100-3K employees) is a plus.
  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving sales and revenue goals.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 40-50% of the time.
