About the position

The Sales Representative at Topcon Positioning Group is responsible for developing and managing a dealer network to promote sales of Topcon products within the Construction and Geo-Positioning market. This role involves executing a sales plan to meet or exceed assigned quotas, providing sales training to dealer staff, and actively prospecting for new dealers. The position requires significant travel and independent work, emphasizing relationship building and strong sales skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage new and existing dealers in the Construction/Geo-Positioning market.
  • Assist dealers in providing sales training to their staff in Topcon technology and products.
  • Develop and execute a sales plan to meet/exceed assigned quotas.
  • Prospect for new dealers.
  • Work with dealers to demonstrate products and prepare proposals.
  • Attend trade shows and perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • BS in Marketing, Sales, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering or equivalent experience and training.
  • 2-5 years' business to business sales experience.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Construction industry knowledge.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
