About the position

KeHE, a natural, organic, specialty and fresh food distributor, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to provide leadership and supervision to Area Supervisors in their assigned territories. The role involves supporting the Area Supervisors and Sr. Director in executing business plans within the designated geographic area. Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision to Area Supervisors in assigned territories.
  • Support Area Supervisors and Sr. Director in executing business plans.
  • Analyze sales territories and recommend improvements.
  • Define and communicate goals for the assigned sales area.
  • Manage budgets for the assigned sales area.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other functional areas to meet company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Coach, counsel, train, and evaluate job performance of employees.
  • Recommend and implement staffing changes and assist in the selection process.
  • Ensure all KPDs, sales targets, and contribution margins are met.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with store management and vendor partners.
  • Observe safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
  • Travel as needed for meetings, food shows, and other events.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in the grocery industry.
  • Three years in a supervisory or management role within the industry.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.

  • Experience in making timely decisions in fast-changing situations.
