About the position
The Regional Property Manager will oversee a diverse portfolio of tax credit, Project Based Section 8, and new lease-up communities across multiple states. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, enhancing customer experiences, and driving financial success within the properties managed. The position requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to innovate processes to foster growth and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage diverse communities to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee marketing, leasing, maintenance, and financial management of properties.
- Drive growth and improve processes through analytical skills.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws, OSHA requirements, and EEOC regulations.
- Conduct data collection, validation, and auditing for operational efficiency.
- Communicate complex information clearly to motivate and inform the team.
- Travel to properties for training, site visits, and meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5 years of experience in multifamily Section 8 housing and LIHTC at the community manager level.
- Proven experience in property management, particularly in LIHTC and Affordable Housing.
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Yardi.
Nice-to-haves
- Certifications such as COS or TOS.
- Experience with regulatory compliance in property management.
