About the position

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for a Traveling Regional Patient Services Director position for the Southeast/Midatlantic Region. Position will support patient services programs, systems and patient services technology within hospitals throughout VA to FL (and Boston, MA). This Regional traveling role will implement Aramark standards, assist with opening new accounts, roll out new programs, and help units drive their patient satisfaction scores. May also cover for absent Patient Services Managers or Directors. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with onsite operators to provide a unified experience for patients. This is a Management position, responsible for developing and executing dining solutions to meet patient and customer needs and tastes. Utilizes technical training and interprets government mandated nutritional standards in the healthcare industry on food health to develop healthy menu implementation plans.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning and executing consistent nutrition and patient communications and strategies, and serve as a nutrition/patient resource across the region.
  • Create and manage a network of thought leaders to support nutrition issues and strategies across the region.
  • Manage and control resources and materials to ensure quality, adequacy of supply, and cost control within budgetary guidelines.
  • Monitors or Manages patient food service activities, complying with established standards including patient tray line, room service, call center, diet office and menu programs such as CBORD, etc.
  • Assists in developing and leading patient service programs to ensure meals are properly prepared and delivered to patients.
  • Drives patient satisfaction scores by ensuring compliance with Aramark systems and programs.
  • Responsible for quality assurance when auditing patient services programs, logging and reporting findings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3 to 5 years of Food Service Management experience required.
  • Requires previous experience in Healthcare patient services.
  • Experience using CBORD is highly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills required, including experience implementing patient services systems.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation knowledge is required.
  • Nutrition and/or modified diet knowledge is required.
  • Must be able to travel 100% of the time.
