About the position

The Regional Operations Manager at CMR Group is responsible for overseeing operations across North America, focusing on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. This role involves collaborating with the Managing Director to meet quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets while driving regional growth. The position requires daily leadership of production and supply chain operations, ensuring timely product delivery from international locations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the U.S. and Mexico locations.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on operational performance, including budgets, revenue, expenses, and KPIs.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyze performance data and make recommendations for improvements to increase productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments and CMR production sites to develop and implement strategies that support overall company goals.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide leadership for managers and direct reports through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
  • Oversee the performance management process for site management personnel.
  • Recommend staffing changes, promotions, or status changes.
  • Ensure that the facility is maintained and improvements are made per the CapEx plan.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Continually evaluate methods, processes, team members, and equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in operations management, preferably in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing teams and achieving business objectives.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, think critically, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice-to-haves
