About the position

The Regional Construction Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting franchises to enhance their construction services. This position focuses on evaluating current processes, providing solutions for performance improvement, and assisting in the implementation of the SERVPRO Operating System. The goal is to foster a consistent network of construction providers while partnering with the Regional Director of Operations to achieve growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate franchises' current construction processes and performance.
  • Provide solutions to improve franchise performance.
  • Assist franchises in implementing the SERVPRO Operating System for construction.
  • Conduct onsite visits, webinars, and phone calls to address issues and challenges.
  • Develop trust and credibility within the franchise community.
  • Document and report potential improvement areas based on implementation challenges.
  • Perform franchise evaluations to ensure uniform service delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience in residential or light commercial construction with a focus on business management and project management.
  • Preferred experience as a general manager or owner of a construction company.
  • Strong business management skills and ability to influence others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical skills and multitasking abilities.
  • Leadership qualities, integrity, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Intermediate knowledge of performance improvement principles and business intelligence.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
