About the position
The Regional Bakery Dish Clerk at Hy-Vee is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety in the bakery fulfillment center. This part-time role involves handling food safely, ensuring the cleanliness of bakery equipment and utensils, and supporting a team-oriented work environment to enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- Takes the garbage to the compactor or designated area
- Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress
- Washes bakery equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, etc.
- Handles food in a safe manner and ensures the work area is always clean and neat
- Adheres to company policies and individual location guidelines
- Reports to work when scheduled and on time
- Assists in other areas of facility as needed
- Performs other job related duties and special projects as required
Requirements
- No education requirement
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
