About The Position

As Regional Area Manager (AM), you will be responsible for ensuring high levels of service in all managed locations (Shirley & Riverhead) for current and prospective customers. As an integral member of leadership, your team will rely upon your talents and abilities to foster an efficient and safety-first culture. Reporting to the General Manager, you will drive customer satisfaction through the ownership of the daily execution for designated branches, including customer service, technician services, order delivery, and warehousing/outside deck operations. Requirements

  • 8+ years in Customer Service, Operations, or Logistics roles.
  • Proven experience leading and managing large teams of service, operations, or logistics employees.
  • Demonstrated success in a number of diverse customer service and operations roles.
  • Extensive experience managing safe, efficient and effective operational delivery processes.
  • Ability to weigh trade-offs to arrive at a solution that is acceptable for both the customer & Paraco.
  • Experience providing a consistently high level of customer service.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing and anticipating change and challenges.
  • "Team player" with demonstrated track record of collaboration with others to solve difficult problems and drive business improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Facilities management experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own execution and adherence to standards for all branch processes.
  • Lead team inclusive of front line drivers, dock/yard, and service technicians through frequent coaching and development conversations ensuring a commitment to our goal to be a world-class leader in safety and responsibility.
  • Working in direct consultation with Human Resources, Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, and Organizational Leadership you will build retention programs setting defined career paths for advancement.
  • Uphold frontline employee safety through the regulation of safety policy compliance, behaviors, and the identification and execution of improvement opportunities.
  • Performing accident investigations, working with the safety team in building pro-active safety measures.
  • Ownership of facilities management including facility appearance ensuring safety compliance.
  • Responsible for management of location(s) P&L focusing on EBITDA, cost management, labor and overtime.
  • Collaborating with all corporate departments as needed.
