About the position

The Region Director is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing account management of supply chain services for existing members/customers. This role focuses on maintaining and renewing products/services, documenting customer-validated savings, and expanding product lines and business solutions. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure customer service exceeds expectations and involves managing complex health systems to drive account growth and maximize customer value.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and oversee account management of supply chain services at existing members/customers.
  • Maintain and renew products/services while documenting customer-validated savings.
  • Assist in expanding current accounts' product lines and business solutions.
  • Work closely with assigned accounts to determine resources needed for performance improvement in supply chain products and services.
  • Collaborate with other field Region Specialists and client services to ensure customer service exceeds expectations.
  • Maintain product and service knowledge and technical competency in all products offered throughout Supply Chain Services.
  • Establish and maintain strategic account plans that align member's strategy and objectives to specific products and solutions.
  • Facilitate monthly account team calls and manage recurring maintenance of account plans.
  • Track and communicate account progress to team and executives, making course corrections as needed.
  • Schedule, plan, and lead member quarterly business reviews in concert with the entire account team.
  • Generate leads for account growth to meet fiscal year revenue targets.
  • Drive contract penetration via savings opportunity analytics and presentations.
  • Manage strategic supplier and partner relationships.
  • Troubleshoot, triage, and escalate customer issues and follow through on resolution.

Requirements

  • 7 or more years of applicable experience in supply chain management or healthcare sales/account management.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in P/L management and resource utilization/cost management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare business analytics.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and electronically.
