About the position

Regal Cinema at Champlain Centre is looking for part-time cast members who are passionate about movies and want to be part of delivering the best possible service, cleanliness and movie-going experience to our guests in a diverse, fun, energetic and engaging environment. Responsibilities

• Provide guest service selling tickets, concessions and/or working as an usher.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Handle emergency situations when called upon.
• Perform general cleaning duties.
• Comply with company dress code.
• Operate POS system and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Upsell Premium Viewing Experience options.
• Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
• Ensure compliance with MPAA rating system.
• Respond to phone calls and questions from guests.
• Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
• Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats.
• Conduct in-theatre inspections for quality and safety.
• Report any problems or unusual situations to management.
• Perform in-auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed.
• Clean auditoriums and maintain cleanliness in all areas.

Requirements

• Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion required.
• Ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy.
• Good public speaking skills and effective listening.
• Ability to identify problems and evaluate relevant information.
• Excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in customer service or retail.
• Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems.
